Hey y'all!!!

Wow, I feel like it's been a month since I arrived at the MTC. Did you know you can get a lot done in a day if you wake up at 6:30 and not 12:00, who would have thought.? I flew to Utah Monday night and stayed at the one and only Nana's house. Then I went to the dorms the next day with my chauffeur/temporary comp and friend Abi and saw my BYU friends which was so awesome and they are all gonna serve missions which is so amazing. I like to think it was me who inspired them all. Next day, I woke up bright and early to sit on my suitcases trying to close them. They are stuffed to the brim. Almost had Nana hop on them with me, but they finally zipped. Then all my Aunts, cute cousins and Clay (my brother) took me out to eat.  It kinda felt like a last meal situation, but it was so fun to talk to all of them and I swear they all said I was their favorite twin (sry Leah). They all dropped me off on Valentine's Day which is kinda ironic iykyk. Soo sad saying goodbye to family for a second time and I think when I left I saw Clay crying, I swear. 

I'll give y'all the rundown but the first three days of MTC are insane and we had a bunch of stuff to do. I met the district in person and they are so great. My comp and I have the room to ourselves which is so nice. Then for the rest of the time it's just the normal schedule... going to breakfast, then we head to morning class for three hours to learn some gospel knowledge, then lunch, and afternoon class for another 3 hours, then dinner. But during lunch and dinner I get to see my friends from my old life. Like Owen Hernandez who's heading to Peru this coming Thursday, if he gets his visa so pray for him!! I got to see Harrison Eynon who's going to Idaho, and we have the funniest convos. Camille Van Gills who's heading to Germany, and it's so amazing to see her cause she's literally the kindest person ever, but her district just keeps saying "9" for some reason. I guess that's their favorite number jk. Londyn Orr who's also going to Peru. It's so fun to see her cause we just talk about everything. Seth Hulme who I swear keeps following me everywhere cause I see him all the time it's getting awkward now. jk loves him. Who thought my MTC experience could get better? Then I see ELDER KIMBALL aka Cael (my cousin). It's sooo good to see him because it's the funniest time of my week. We have everyone laughing in the cafeteria I swear. Literally, so blessed to have so many friends here at the MTC cause it's a rough transition I'm not gonna lie. It's a big change, and I think the Lord knew I needed these friends here at the MTC cause it makes my days better that's for sure.

OKOK I know that was all gloomy and sentimental but I swear I'm loving the missionary life. I'm learning about soooo many things and I actually LOVE personal study time. I started the best book ever, The Book Of Mormon, HIGHLY recommend. I started reading it again but this time writing down a summary and the important stuff in a journal my brother got me (thanks Clay) and it literally changed my life because I'm learning so much. I joined the choir and let's just say I'm the best one there. The lady directing it actually gave me a solo jk but I'll be in the choir for the devotional tonight so watch out for the tall girl in the back HAHA.I love convincing other missionaries that I'm speaking Spanish with my good Spanish skills from Honduras, but then I speak to the Spanish missionaries and they expose me haha. Also Jack if you're reading this I told everyone your conversion story and how I helped you through that process. They love your story here. haha

Y'all are probably wondering what's up with the title. So my district was at the temple this week and when we were leaving the temple grounds these two elderly ladies jogging stopped and saw our tags and asked where we were all going. So everyone in my district preceded to say where they are heading and the elderly ladies are saying how amazing those places are. And then I said I'm going to Colorado Springs Colorado and the ladies then said to me "OHH good cause they are going down the drain" had my whole district laughing. I said that's why they need me there haha. Literally so funny.

Just wanted to end with a spiritual thought. 

In class this past week everyone got to study any topic, and some people were whipping out deep questions and we were able to discuss and answer some of them. Then some of my classmates were able to recall so many scripture stories and doctrine from their mind which made me question my life thinking how I wasn't deep enough, and how I didn't know everything about the scripture stories like everyone else did. I think the teacher noticed how puzzled I looked and she came over and flipped open the preach my gospel and it said how if you put in the work and "serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength" (D&C 4:2) He will magnify your talents because we all have different talents and the Lord knows us individually, and he will strengthen us. Just have faith in Him.

DAD- Told everyone what you do for a living and let's just say the elders are very interested in what you do.

Mom- Miss you so much I talk about you all the time with my district I told them how you jokingly say "I'm not a regular mom I'm a cool mom." They loved it.

Clay- I really really appreciate the things you got me I use them all the time, and I'm so grateful.

Leah- Everyone here think it's sick that we are both on missions but you're at the CCM
