Hey y'all 

I'm back with another fire email! This week has been crazy so let's get it started!!

The fruit of our labors🙌

The ward can't hate if they are seeing lost sheep and new sheep in the pasture!! I mentioned this guy last week but we helped this member return to church and we just found out he hasn't been in 11 years!😱  Last week was the first time in forever and it was fast and testimony meeting and we saw him tearing up in the middle of if. We talked to him after and he said he almost got up to bear his, but he didn't know what he was allowed to say. So I told him whatever the sprit tells you to say. 🫳🎤  I told him there is always next fast Sunday tho. 🙌

We had a baptism on Saturday for Thomas!! It went sooo good and he kept telling us that he has a surprise for us. This man pulls up to church the next day in a suite and tie with a fresh cut and a quad in his hand. He took born again literally. He's about to be the next stake president that's for sure!! The baptism went so good and the sprit was so strong. Thomas had a smile on his face the whole time😁

Sister Simmons and I have a sand volleyball court next to our apartment which sounds bougie but trust me it is not lol. We invested in a volleyball and we decided to practice every day in the morning, so when we play on P-day with the district, they will be surprised by our amazing skills😮. We have been doing like ABC passing but we found out that Sister Simmons doesn't know her alphabet cause she keeps skipping G and I 🤦‍♀️.

The District is fitted up!! We went thrifting on pday and the finds are crazy let's just say we will be the next style icons at zone conf!! Pic below💁‍♀️

We were tracting and we were walking up the stairs in an outdoor apartment building. We turned the corner all of the sudden I see a guy with a blanket over his head, and so I started sprinting down the stairs and my comp following me. I thought he was running after us.  Turns out I'm just paranoid. It's scared me so bad, haha it had us dying in the car 🤦‍♀️💀

The gift of tongues is not with us. We found this guy who's from Africa and his English is not the best but we set up a phone call lesson with him with one of our members who's speaks French. Right when the call happened we soon realized that this man's English is not great on the phone. So we told our member, Brother Johnson, to teach him about God's love in French. This man carried the lesson with us soon realizing that we will have to find some French missionaries for our new friend haha. 🥖👨‍🎨

We got a baptism date set up!!! So everyone mark your calendars for May 1 2035!!😁

We were talking to this man and we mentioned baptism, and he said, "Oh yeah I would love to in the future." We got so excited, and then he said when he was thinking. He said his best bet is May 1 2035. So Sister Simmons and I will be attending a baptism when we are 31 and 32!!🤗

Sister Simmons and I were in the car, and you know working and saving souls and what not. Then we got a call from the Sister APs and they asked us to drive a sister to the airport which I was so down for cause it would be fun to drive somewhere else and see different views. Then they mentioned that her plane leaves at 5 am and that we have to be up in missionary clothes at 3 am to take her. Definitely did not want to do that, but serving others is serving the Lord.😔 So bright and early we woke up, threw a dress on, and took this Sister Missionary to the airport. This is where I told myself I wouldn't be back until 18 months, but 3 months is close enough lol. We said goodbye and watched her walk through security, then we rushed home to jump into bed before 6:30am so we could get at least some sleep before a day of work. We made it home at 4:30 so we at least had 2 more hours of sleep. Then later that day the mission office called us to ask why our car was moving at 3 am, so I told them we hit a rager, jk they wish!! We told them that we did the Lords work 🙏.

Yesterday we had a lesson with a non-active member and when we entered his house he said we will actually be talking downstairs in the basement. We enter the basement and let me tell you what I witnessed. We enter this room and it's like a grandma's front room for Christmas but times 100. There was 50 snow globes that lined the shelves then a huge Christmas tree decorated and ready for action! There was about 25 huge nut crackers lining the walls and a train track all over the floor with a train  passing by us every 5 min. 🚂💨 I don't want to forget the Christmas music playing in the back ground. It was crazy. It's like Santa's work shop but in the middle of May!  I guess this guy loves Christmas🫢

Just wanted to share a thought about my wonderful mother Courtney Kimball!! First a little scripture thought from Alma 56: 47-48!!

47 Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.

48 And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.

This story is crazy.  It is just about how 2000 young men who have never been in war were all saved from battling strong men who have been to war many times. They had faith cause their mother's had faith in them, that God will deliver them. They truly were mommas boys, you would say. I wanted to talk about my amazing mother and how strong her faith has been my entire life, even through hard times she knew to trust in the Lord. Her faith has taught me so much, and I strive to have as much faith as she does. No matter what's happening in her life or how tired she is, I always see her kneeling down to pray. Even when things aren't the best she knows to trust in Him. My momma is a huge example to me, and I will always be grateful for her strong faith in this amazing gospel. I love you mom.

Leah-  I had a family tell me all about how dangerous St Louis is, and  he works for crime and he told us some crazy stories.  Then I told them that my twin sister is serving there lol.

Bella- Can't believe you're going to be a senior. When are they gonna let you know that they are holding you back 🫢?
