Transfer week should be illegal! Not having a P-day in 10 days is crazy. It's been a long time, but I'm back!! This week has been crazy. It's been a spiritual high that's for us, and for other people that we have met its been a normal high! 🍃😶‍🌫️

Let's get to it! Started this week off with a different kind of zone conference it was just for our zone because I guess they see the amazing work that we are doing!! So Pres and Sister Kotter came and talked to us and then they said they had a game for us to play. I was thinking it was gonna be a gospel related game, but no, they showed us how to play Bunko which is a dice game. Sadly, my comp and I got second to last place because there is no strategy to the game. It's just pure luck so I told pres to give me a real game, and I'll win, trust. 👑🙌

We did some stop by's this week which were crazy.  We met a guy who was excommunicated in the 90's and he kept jumping around the reason of why, so hopefully soon I'll have the details to spill, JK. We were doing calls and this guy picked up, and we asked when we can come over and share message and he said to come now, so we hopped in the buggie and whipped over there.🚗💨 We shared the gospel with him, and we were having a great spiritual conversation but I'm in Colorado, and I forget that sometimes and that weed is legal here lol, so just then I saw he had some in his hands. We asked why he moved to Colorado and he straight up told us it was because weed is legal here, haha it was crazy!🍃😶‍🌫️

The weather this week has been so Bipolar I swear Colorado can't make up its mind lol.  It's like pouring rain one second and then the sun beaming on us so hard.☀️

This is crazy, I was in Fountain for a day with my homie Sister Wilson, and we went to one of her ward members homes. This member is one my new favs. She sits down and she says to me, "i can sense you're happy, but you're kinda scared right now.", and this caught me so off guard.  Then she tells me she's an empath, so she can feel how people feel, and this was such a crazy experience. We kept teaching, and I share a scripture but then she stops me and says "I'm just seeing water fowl all around you.", and I didn't know what to say, so then she says, "Something is going to happen to you soon that involves ducks of some sort."  So for the next couple of days when I see a duck, I'm sprinting lol.🦆

We were teaching this young girl with the elders, and when the elders were teaching her, I saw something scurry behind me. So i watched for it carefully again, and there was a mouse in the house. It was crazy, so I told them and the girl freaked out, but the elders caught the mouse haaha 🐁🏠 Luckily it wasn't a duck!

We had a really cool spiritual experience. We knocked on a members house to share a message with her and her house mate opened the door. We headed to Sister Clayton's room and she told us her housemate is actually a member who left the church years ago. I had the urge to invite him in and join us, and he did!  This lesson was crazy!!! He told us he joined the church when he was 25 and then stopped going a year and a half later. We taught about repentance, and Enos, and the words just kept coming to us. It was so amazing! He kept nodding his head yes every time we talked, and just saying how amazing this is, and how he knows now that God is aware of him because he was asking for a sign and then we knocked on the door. It was such a cool experience. We just gave him a church tour yesterday, and he's planning on attending this Sunday so yay!!!

We were on our lunch break sitting in the car and our DL called us up and begged us to help them with service cause there's so much to do. We told him we can't cause we had a lesson, but then our lady texted us cancelling, so we gave up our lunch time to go do service. Very consecrated of us, fr!! We pulled up and there were three sets of missionaries there pulling weeds, so with us there was 8 missionaries. The couple came out and they called us up cause they found one of the elders on facebook, so they weren't members, and they asked us what our names were, and we told her "Sister Kimball, Sister Simmons and etc.." Then she was like no what are your human names, haha we had to explain that we go by sister and elder while on our missions lol. After we finished there was no weed in sight cause I got there and I started pulling!! All those summers of pulling weeds really paid off (thanks mom)💪

Sister Simmons and I took on the pulpit this Sunday!! It was a missionary farewell and they wanted us to speak about missionary work after his talk. We did and I think we really inspired the ward. I wanted to share a quote that I shared in my talk.  

Jesus says "Peter, do you love me?” then Peter says "Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee.” This happens two more times and Peter answers the same way. 

To which Jesus responded (and here again this is Jeffrey R Hollands nonscriptural elaboration), perhaps saying something like: “Then Peter, why are you here? Why are we back on this same shore, by these same nets, having this same conversation? Wasn’t it obvious then and isn’t it obvious now that if I want fish, I can get fish? What I need, Peter, are disciples—and I need them forever. I need someone to feed my sheep and save my lambs. I need someone to preach my gospel and defend my faith. I need someone who loves me, truly, truly loves me, and loves what our Father in Heaven has commissioned me to do. 

Ours is not a feeble message. It is not a fleeting task. It is not hapless; it is not hopeless; it is not to be consigned to the ash heap of history. It is the work of Almighty God, and it is to change the world. So, Peter, for the second and presumably the last time, I am asking you to leave all this and to go teach and testify, labor and serve loyally until the day in which they will do to you exactly what they did to me.”

The one true and strongest way to show Jesus Christ that we love Him and its says in the scriptures over and over again is to feed His sheep, and serve His people. I am so happy I'm here being a missionary for Jesus Christ and serving his people!
