 Wasss up y'all!! I'm back with another hit! Hopefully this email doesn't strike out or run on too long! Hopefully its a steal! Ok, I'm done with the baseball puns, I'm now going to pitch! Haha🤣 knee slapper right there!!  These are for my Grandpa...

We had P-day and we decided to play mini golf and guess what they had at the mini golf??... They had batting cages!!! So we decided to do the batting cages first, and let's just say I was humbled! I just kept swingin' and missin'! I didn't think hitting a baseball would be so hard. I gotta hand it to ya, Jack, I didn't know it was that hard! We then played mini golf where some of the balls did land in the street behind the gate lol.  Shout out Sister Lewis with her golf swing! 😱🤭😂

This weeks updates...

We had dinner at Chile's two nights in a row! Sister Nelson, who's an older lady in our ward, texted us to meet her at Chille's for dinner, which had me and Sis. J dead 💀 because the night before we were there with Sister Boyer.  She's from my first area and she's a queen🙌👑!! But we showed up the for the second time and it was all the same workers from the night before, so awk!! We sat down at the table and it was the same waitress, and she looked at us and said, "Wow, y'all must really love this place" haha. 

At Chile's, Satan was tempting us cause we were facing the TV's and this baseball game was on. I never really was a fan of watching baseball, but Satan really likes to make you think you really like it, when you can't watch it. Literally it was so hard not to just look up. It was Michigan vs Alabama and the score was 2 to 2 in the 7th inning, but the Lord helped me out and a rainstorm blew in, and I guess it knocked the TV dish cause the signal was lost!! So hallelujah!! (Pssst Jack send me the winning scores I was so invested🤫)

Also one more thing about baseball. I swear this whole week was centered around baseball and also Jesus Christ. 😁 But we were at Cottonwood Creek park and we were sitting on the bench next to the playground and baseball fields. A bunch of older guys 👴 were playing a game and listening to the Beach Boys. I swear it was something out of a movie. These old timers were pretty good, not gonna lie. It was giving Sandlot vibes, but like the sequel to see what they are doing now haha.⚾️🏖

We went tracting and Sister Johnson chose the street we tracted. And it was hilarious cause door after door they were all atheists.🙅‍♀️ It's hilarious in the fact that this was the street Sister Johnson feel prompted to go, but sad in the fact that these people don't think there is a God. Sister Johnson was at the point of choosing a new street,  but I told her there's a point why were there. We didn't see why we were there today, but who knows, we might see an impact in the future.

Sis J is from Utah. I think we all established this already. She loves mountains. And there this huge one in Colorado Springs called Pikes Peak. And every time she see Pikes Peak she calls it out. So the other day we were sitting at the park and we were both doing missionary work and she looks up at me dead serious💀, asks me, "Do you have mountains in Texas?" It had me dead. I had to break it her to that we barely got hills lol!! 🤣

Recently, we stopped by this members house and she was telling us how she was doing a grocery order and they only gave her one banana. Well, her kid grabbed the banana from her and started eating it. 🍌🦷We were just talking and then the kid was like, "This banana is gross it has something in it." Turns out he lost his tooth in the banana, it was disgusting, but so funny. So the tooth fairy made a visit last night!! 🧚‍♀️

A little update on our amigos!! So they are all going through lots of life problems right now. Like they either lost someone or financial trouble or highschool drama! So we have been praying and fasting for all of them. It's been hard, so I literally had to be bold with these people and tell them straight up that if they make God a priority, everything will get better. I'm not saying God will make those things disappear, but he will help the situation. I have seen that over and over in my life. We visited Sister Rojas (not a member, but has been coming to church for years) and had a powerful restoration lesson with her. And we invited her to pray to know that the BOM is true. Let's pray she receives this confirmation. She needs to enter the waters of baptism!! ⛲️🙏

Update on my girl Diane. We had our regular lesson set for Friday.  She's told us that if she is not answering the door to call her or walk in. So we were standing at her door calling and knocking, and no answer, and BTW we could hear the TV blasting so loud. So I just crept open the door and looked inside and Diane is passed out sleeping.  It made me kinda worried she wasn't breathing, but then she moved, so thank goodness!!🙏🙌  That was close!

I wanted to share this quote by Pres Russell M Nelson! 

"Those who are endowed in the house of the Lord receive a gift of God’s priesthood power by virtue of their covenant, along with a gift of knowledge to know how to draw upon that power."

We Colorado Springs missionaries can't go to the temple even though the Denver temple is 5 minutes from our boundary lines. So if you have a temple close by, GO, because you really do receive spiritual power from there. It's a way to feel closer to God and Jesus Christ even if you feel like you aren't, you are! You are in their house!! 

In D&C 109 it's says "And we ask thee, Holy Father, that thy servants may go forth from this house armed with thy power, and that thy name may be upon them, and thy glory be round about them, and thine angels have charge over them;"
This is the Kirkland Temple dedication prayer, and it literally promises us that we will have angels charge over us. I know that the veil is very thin in the temple, and I know that the temple truly brings us so many blessings. 

Ok I love y'all!! And hope everyone is getting lit!! Y'all should honestly go to the temple for me!!🤭
