Here's the tea about what happened last P-day! My district (group of missionaries) We were planning on going to the mall last P-day and we were going to eat there and the look around cause I got no money to spend lol! We show up and our ZL gets out of his car and he had to break the news that another district was there. Let me tell you how peeved I was cause I was hungry and I didn't want to wait for them to leave. The problem is that we can't have two districts together cause rules and stuff. So we had to sit in the car for like 20 min waiting for them to leave. My family would say I was very hangry.😠 But I was not having it. But the Lord blessed me with patience, so I had to use that on overtime. It's ok, that district is now dead to me!💀

After P-day we had dinner with the Garzas and the dad is solo Español, so I channeled my inner Español and turns out that its not there anymore. I literally was struggling so bad. I read a quote for him in Spanish and It was awful. My Honduran roots escaped me at the moment. I'm sorry familia I let y'all down. 😥

We had zone training on Tuesday. Sister Arnold and I were running late and we show up and everyone's in their seats.  We see Pres in the front and it was the most embarrassing experience cause the only seats were in the front.🤦‍♀️ After some training it was time for the game part. At every Zone training there's a game at the end and the winner can win 30 bucks for dinner. Last zone training it was Uno and I made it to the semi finals. This Zone training it's the game Taco Cat. And I won out of my group so I went to the finals and right when we started playing I realized my group was playing wrong the whole time. 😬  It was at the moment when I was humbled and it was the worst loss off all time. Literally, I was collecting the cards for everyone haha!🤦‍♀️ Pres asked what happened and I had to admit defeat! It's ok imma be practicing every card game to exist to be prepared for next zone training!!

We had service after that with few other missionaries. We were helping someone move in. Idk what's with the stereotype that sister missionaries have no strength. Eveytime a box was slightly heavy they would turn and look at us and say save it for the boys. 🤨 I pressed on and continued to carry them boxes. 💪😁

Bucket list item checked off! I unplugged Tiwi this week for kicks and gigs! Jk our Tiwi in our car has been actin' up. Tiwi is a device every missionary car has that tells them to slow down if they drive too fast or too aggressive. It's the most annoying thing ever. But recently it's been ringing like a phone and that's not good. So we call up the mission office and they told us to call customer support. We did, and this man was so hard to understand. But he told us to unplug the device. My comp and I were clueless how to do that cause we don't break rules😁 We finally unplugged it and it was a crazy experience. Not really, but it was a highlight of my day lol. We then plugged it back in and we got a call from the mission office asking why our device was off. Lol it was a scary call even though we were told too! 😬

We then had service at the Lee's house and we show up and all of her kids are shirtless and have daggers in their hands! All six of them literally surrounded us yelling "cilvilaizers" I guess they were playing a game, but they all had sticks with sharpened ends and they were all pointing them at us. Very scary moment there for a sec. Then Sister Lee told them to leave the sisters alone and they all dispersed and left into the back yard! It was seriously like a pack of wolves. It had me dead💀

It's been hot here! So during lunch I have been taking some fat naps, idk why because I never used to nap, but I need those 15 minutes. It's crucial!! #napqueen 🙌

God is real. Lost my sunglasses for a little bit and I was trying to see if I can do a day with out sunglasses until I can find them. It was awful, idk why people don't wear sunglasses all the time cause its so bright out. But I said a mighty prayer and God delivered!🙌😎

I was listening to a baller talk called "An High Priest of Good Things" by Pres. Jeffery R Holland. Here's my fav quote! "Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come." Sometimes it feels that in life we are waiting years for blessings even though we have remained faithful and righteous. Sometimes we loose hope. But I know it's only through the gospel of Jesus Christ that no matter what, those good things do come. I love the gospel so much and it has brought so many blessings to me already, like an amazing family that loves and supports me! I'm so grateful to have the gospel in my life cause I know that good things will come.
