Hey everyone! It's been a great week! Except we had a fake spring for a week and now it's cold again. I literally can't wait for summer!
On p-day we went back to Tucanos, which is awesome! We literally ate so much. We had to go one last time before Elder Hobbs returned to the 51st state! 🫡🇨🇦 After that, this Elder had a game he wanted us to play. I think it's called "Russian Spy," but it involves turning off all the lights in the gym, turning the tables sideways, and trying to get from one side of the gym to the other to get the flag and then back to the other side. But there was a person on stage with a laser pointer, and if they identified you, you had to start over. It was really fun, but then it got super hard, where you literally couldn't move because I swear they were cheating, but they would identify me every time. It's super fun. We also have an elder 🤦♀️ who thinks if he walks really slowly and quietly, no one will see him. Anyway, for the rest of the week, Sis B and I were so sore from this game because we were sliding and crawling the whole time. We have so many bruises on our legs! 😬
Yeeeeyawww! 🤠 We went to Texas Roadhouse on Monday and it was needed! A member family took us, and their son, who's like 18 months-old, was really scared of the armadillo; it was hilarious.

Had my president interview!! Went awesome!! I love my mission leaders so much—I just had to add this!!
I don't like April Fools' Day because I don't know why I'm so gullible. But I didn't know people would actually do things on April Fools. We were at the district council, and after going to the bathroom, we walked outside and all the Elders were there whispering, and I heard a name I recognized, so I asked what they were talking about. Everyone went quiet, and I asked again, but there was no answer. We were leaving the church and I was asking them what they were saying. An Elder turned to me and said, "You know that joke missionaries tell their companions when they ask them how far away the plane is and they say how many months they have left?" Well, he said that plane is 17 hours away from me. 😱 My jaw fell open. So he was going home? Y’all, that whole day I was rewiring my brain thinking he was going home. He then texted, "btw this is a prank y'all." I should have guessed it lol! Then his companion removed him from the chat the next day. As anyone would say, I was like, "I don't know what's real anymore." Then they sent a picture of him at the airport. So crazy! Well, it's good that he's going home to figure things out, but he's coming back later. What really gets me is him getting his travel plans on April Fools' Day—who does that? Haha. It was trippy.
We had exchanges! And I was with Sis Tolk, who came in a transfer before me, but we are going home at the same time! Anyway, I went to fill up the gas tank, opened the gas cap, and found two apple halves. I sent a picture to the district chat and asked who the heck did this. I found out that it was from zone conference, and Elder Stephens came out, broke the apple, and put it in the gas cap just to mess with Sandcreek (us).

We had a crazy call with a guy from India! We had to call the Tiwi company because the robot in the car was acting weird! We were on the phone for an hour, and he made me drive around to test it. Literally so embarrassing, because I hit a speed bump and got an aggressive driving. So annoying!! I hate Tiwi.

But y’all, what I got from General Conference was being prepared!! LITERALLY WHEN RUSSELL M. NELSON SAID, "THE LORD IS PROMPTING ME TO TELL Y'ALL THAT HE IS COMING!" I was literally jaw dropped. Y’all, we need to be prepared. Like the 10 virgins—we need to be the 5 that have their lamps filled!! So I extend the same invite that President Nelson extended—to make the temple a priority!! That's my rant for y’all today!!
