Hey y'all

Imma just get to it cause I don't know how people write these every week. They take forever so y'all better be reading them cause I'm only doing it for the fans. 

Ok I started the week off with some exchanges so I was with Sister Maruji on day uno. It was a blast we were with out a sim so we had no service, so I was directing us with my good mapping skills! Let just say we took a lot of wrong turns and just hoped no one texted us. 

We had zone conference which was so fun. Got to see all my missionary friends and learn a lot about Easter!! Which I am personally so excited for!! President Kotter (Mission President) emphasize about how important each day of Holy Week is. I got to study and learn about why Palm Sunday is so important, and what each part symbolizes.  Which I find really interesting, so I highly recommend studying what each day of Holy week means. 

 After zone conference we had a crazy experience so we had a lesson with some guy who requested to meet with us. It started great.  We were teaching him about Joseph Smith and how the gospel came to be! All of the sudden this guy told us this story of how he can heal people by touching them. My comps and I looked at each other shocked because of what he said. We decided to move past it and continue teaching. Then he asked the craziest question and it literally shocked us. He asked "Is it possible that God is an alien?" 👽 Bro was totally on some Colorado herbs, that's for sure. Did he think I said beam of light🛸 instead of pillar of light? Crazy! Me and my comps had no idea what to say so we just kept teaching. All of the sudden this man says how he has seen God. So we were like, yeah no, we are done. So we tried ending it and invited him to pray later about what we said to know it's true. HE THEN STARTS PRAYING RIGHT THEN it was literally crazy, and it was a very different kind of prayer. After he prayed we decided to end it there lol. 

Oh guys I got on a plane and decided to go home! SIKE A member in our ward took us to dinner and this was the coolest restaurant ever. It was a restaurant inside of an old plane. I got the window seat, it was so cool. After we finished ordering we got to go up to the pilot area and me and Sis Simmons were having the funnest time. It was so lit.

I also met my first RLDS member (Reorganized Latter Day Saints) or Community of Christ. Very interesting conversation that's for sure. It was kinda crazy cause just the other day me and my comps were talking about how we have never met a RLDS member before, and now I can say that I have. He showed us his hymn book and they had some of our songs in there which was crazy. He then started saying some nice things LOL. I wanted to bring up the Kirkland Temple, but decided to be the bigger person for once.

On Thursday we were snowed in. We had to stay in the apartment all day. I decided to paint my travel Book of Mormon. We did some phone call lessons but then we had to go outside because we couldn't stay inside any longer. We then went out side and the snow was crazy, like I cannot believe I live somewhere that snows. It was like 2 feet deep. We headed to the car where we did some calls, not that exciting haha and Sister Simmons hit her head. It was so funny.

We got stocked up on Eggos. The district leaders mom (Mama Milli 🙌) asked us if we wanted any groceries and no one was saying anything, so of course I spoke up. Let's just say she stocked us up. It was crazy, so we have tons of bananas and Eggos.  Enough to last us until next transfer. 

On Saturday Sister Simmons and I found out that Sister Schauers has never seen Saturday's Warrior starring Kenny Holland. If y'all haven't seen it I recommend watching it. The funniest movie that the church ever produced. We acted out the whole movie for her and let's just say we got her hooked. Too bad the Sacred Music App doesn't have the songs on there. If they did we would go so hard on "There's Got to be More to This Life" and "Line upon Line"!! 

Nothing really interesting this week except for the fact that God is an alien, and the RLDS is the true church. Crazy.

Oh totally forgot we had a miracle this week! We were sitting in Mickey D's and we were looking for one of our friends (investigators) to go to this play called The Lamb Of God, and no one was answering. So we prayed because we really wanted to go to the play, but also have a friend go too. Haha literally not even 10 minutes later, I see one of our friends and so I call him over, and no joke you won't guess what was in his hand. A BOOK OF MORMON like what are the odds so we asked and he said he was just doing some light reading, crazy! So we asked him if he was free on Saturday and he said yes, and so we invited him! It was truly a miracle! God answers prayers! 

This verse from the Book of Mormon really had an impact on my week! 

"Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend." Mosiah 9:4

This is such an amazing verse cause the truth is we as people don't know everything. We can't understand everything that the Lord knows. I know that we just have to trust in Him and have faith in Him, cause I know He will guide us and I know He wants the best for us.
