I'm back and still alive! I know y'all are jumpin' up and down!!

Another day, another week! Your girl is now in the driver seat! Hey that kinda rhymes. Well I'm whippin' around Colorado! The student has become the master.🙏😁

I think my trainers were so nervy to have me drive. I think after this week they don't want me to drive anymore lol. We have this thing that screams at me if I speed so if you're ever in Colorado and you see a car going the same speed as a kids car that's us haha! Also there are so many potholes it's crazy.

PIE day was canceled last week, so it was this week! So we got some good pie provided by our local neighbors, who run away from us when we try to talk to them but at least we got some pie!! We will get them soon😁

We were on exchanges and me and Sister Wallace were tracting! And we were knocking on this door and there was no answer so we were about to leave until this man opened the door in just in a towel😱. We were mortified! One wrong move.😬
We did some phone calls and we were calling this lady but she blocked us, so we decided to *67 her! She picked up and was so happy to hear from us and now we have lessons with her every week. And now I'm wondering who's gonna tell her she has to unblock us! Awkward

We went to a members house and I have talked about this member before but she feeds us every Wednesday, and she went to Costco and she bought us like the whole store.  So we were making multiple trips to the car, she is such a sweet lady!!

We went to the donut shop to make some calls. This kid and I think his brother they walked in. The kid put his phone down on the table. They got their donuts and left I saw that the kid left his phone and I grabbed it and me and my comp ran out and gave it to him. Now we have a lesson with them later this week! So basically I'm a beast at street contacting.  Feeding His sheep one donut shop at a time.

Next day was Sister Schauers birthday so me and my comp were planning on waking up 40 min after she went to bed to decorate. I woke up at 12:30am miraculously cause the timer didn't go off, so I woke up Sister Simmons. Waking up Sister Simmons is like waking up your dad when you're home for curfew cause this girl wakes up like the house is on fire. Me and Sis Simmons decorated for her bday. But at 6:30am Sis Schauers came out and we sprayed her with silly string, lol she loved that😬 Then we had district council and I think I had too much power with the silly string cause I sprayed the Elders and it got in Elder Farboughn eye, lol rip.

We had a devotional so we met up with the zone. Funniest thing happened, I sprayed hand sanitizer on my hands. (The one by Touchland) Anyway, Elder Young thought it was breath spray so he grabbed it and sprayed it in his mouth. It had us all die laughing. He was coughing the rest of the day.

The devotional was by Joseph Brickey who paints for the temples. It was so cool to hear from him. He told us that he went to the tomb where Jesus laid and they let him measure it so by his calculation he says Jesus is 6 9" so that's pretty cool. He told us so many interesting things and about what each part of his painting means and  symbolism stuff. We then had to volunteer at an art show!! That was pretty cool cause it's Jesus Christ represented in many different ways. My favs are definitely the primary children's artwork scroll down and you can find Jesus in blue jeans.

Modern day Jesus🙌

We went knocking the other day and dang people can be harsh sometimes. We opened this one door and this guy was like "You didn't see the sign?" pointing to the big sign above the doorbell that says "No Soliciting." I then said "No we didn't see it." I mean we did see the sign but we chose to ignore it. Technically, we aren't solicitors cause we aren't selling anything. We are only giving great knowledge. But he didn't see it that way, and so he nodded his head and shut his door.  Little does he know his salvation is on the line. Hey, but when a door closes another one opens.

The next day we had a baptism.  Sadly, it wasn't ours. But our friend Thomas came and he told us he is thinking about being baptized, so that is so awesome!! We are so close to putting him on date! Our other friend Jason is cracked, like he is reading the BOM everyday and he bought a ukulele Hymn book so that he can learn the songs! We are so close to putting him on date as well.

Because its Holy week I'm going to share my favorite scripture about the atonement. "And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities." Alma 7:12

This verse is so amazing because it talks about how he experienced everything we have been through. He took on our pains and hardships. In this verse it says he will "succor his people" and the words succor literally means to run to, and it's Christ’s care for and attention to us. So He is running to us. I know that He comforts us through hard times.

That's my week basically! Love y'all!
