Now that I have your attention and BTW I didn't break my arm just wanted to click bait y'all (Sister Simmons idea)! This week was honestly crazy lol!! So let's get to it!
Let's get to it!!
P-day this week was honestly mid. We have a zone P-day coming up aka v-ball tournament so we have been hard core practicing!! I'm not about loosing so I have the team running drills!! This is when my height comes in handy π (thanks dad)!!
We had Zone training this week and it was super good. We talked about the Book of Mormon and what a power it is! Benson once said "strive to flood the earth and your lives with the Book of Mormon." He ain't wrong, ok sorry I popped off there. There will still be a spiritual thought at the end!! After we get some training, we usually play a game and Pres Kotter gave us a choice Skipbo or Uno let me tell you, I'm a beast at Skipbo! So I got everyone to vote for Skipbo!! Let me shoutout my Grandma and Grandpa who would have Skipbo tournaments with us grandkids. I have been waitin' my whole life for this!!
Turns out people didn't play this game a bunch as a kids so no one knew how. So Pres Kotter had me get mic'd up to explain the game!! π€π€ We got in to teams and it got real! I'mma be honest I won at my table and went to the finals, and man this was a tuff one! It was a tough loss but I got 3rd! I know it was hard one, but I gave it my all in the 4th quarter!π€¦ββοΈ

Me and Sis J have been on the service grind this whole week!! Everyone and their mom needs the sister strength!!πͺ A lady called us and asked us to come help her move, so we called up the Elders to help us, help her! So we packed her all up in her truck, and this lady is Buddist, so I was very nervous about bringing up God in general. But man was the spirit there telling me exactly what to say. She starts crying and looks at us and she said she literally got chills. We went back the next morning and met the Elders there to unload in to her new casa and we were able to give her a Book of Mormon. I suggested 3 Nephi 11 to read and she said she would and she was just so grateful!!
I told Sister J that we should start a moving business!! Sister Missionaries by day and movers by night!! π¦πππͺ
A member in our ward, who's been going through it, texted us to help her move her grand piano so we hit up a different pair of Elders (so we aren't over using them) but lol they were on exchanges, so we got the same one that had been helping us haha!! We honestly didn't need them cause we got that sister strength, but we didn't wanna strain anything yk? π We moved this huge cabinet first and let me tell you, I first stood and watched but the Elders were struggling so I helped, but man was this cabinet was sooo heavy! It had 4 missionaries dyin'!! We then moved the grand piano and dang who knew pianos were heavy!
We had a lesson with Trish who has a chewing problem which is literally not it. I just keep thinking of that scene from Sandlot where they all throw up on the Rollercoaster or whatever!! Well, anyways, we were talking to her and she was telling us this story which was soo off topic cause we were teaching CPR (church, prayer, read). She was talking about her exes girlfriend and she was like, mind my language and points up and says, "Sorry Lord, but she was Γ major B****!!". It had me dead, like girl I don't think it works like that!

Fav family is about to pop out another kid. They have 6 under 8, so soon 7 under 8! So pray for them! They gave us some more eggs cause everyone and their mom has chickens in their back yard, so me and Sis J never need to buy eggs. I told them my family tried doing that once, but it failed, so we let set the chickens free! π
We get to lunch with the other sisters in our district sometimes, and we did it this week. We low key all decided to exchange at the last minute, so I had Sis Piutau for the day, and man was that crazy! We went tracting and met this guy, who let's just say, was higher then a kite! Literally, he was going off about God and how he might be an alien, and just one long run on sentence fr! I literally was shocked at these things. Let's just say, he also mentioned the movie Heretic and I was lost ahah! We gave him a BOM, so when his mind is fully there, he can find it and read from it!!
Speaking of the movie Heretic... a member in our ward asked if we have any pepperspray or anything to defend ourselves with. We let her know that honestly, we don't, but if any body comes close I have 5 BOM's in my bag and I can throw, ahah! If y'all don't know what Heretic is, it's this stupid movie coming out about these sister missionaries who get trapped by this old creepy guy, and he tricks them with blueberry pie. It's low key stupid but everyone in our ward has been talking about it, and they have been worried for our safety. I told them there is no need to worry because the difference with them and us, is that it's a movie, and we also have God's protection. But a member in our ward gave me and Sis J pepper spray. Matching teal ones, so cute!! ππ₯Ή But now I got us! It does take me fat minute to find it in my bag, but if the creepy guy can wait 5 minutes then I got us!!

So after church yesterday, we were doing stop bys and we knocked on this one less active lady's door. The daughter answered, and her name is Bella. Well Bella's parents are divorced so her mom lives here, and her dad lives in Fountain and he is in the Soaring Eagles ward which was my first area! So I had a whole deja vu experience because Bella starts showing us her rats and it was the same story my trainer told me like 5 months ago when we called her!! So me and Sister Simmons are having the same mission experiences ahha!! Anyway, Bella shows us her rats and how one of them is slowly dying, so pray for Colton (her rat)! ππ Bella asked if we wanted to hold one and I jumped at saying "No" but I knew I should for the plot. So I held a rat this week. I was so scared it was gonna bite me, but I did it! Then Bella showed us her different walking sticks that's she has cause she's blind. Then she went off about those social experiments about people pretending to be blind and I was like, pop off girl, I got fired up with her!
I wanted to share a thought from this talk Beware of Pride by Ezra Taft,
"Pride is a very misunderstood sin, and many are sinning in ignorance. (See Mosiah 3:11; 3 Ne. 6:18.)
In the scriptures there is no such thing as righteous prideο»Ώβit is always considered a sin. Therefore, no matter how the world uses the term, we must understand how God uses the term so we can understand the language of holy writ and profit thereby." The Book of Mormon talks about the pride cycle over and over again. We have to humble ourselves and accept criticism, and trust me, this is hard cause I don't take criticism!! But truly we are trying to become more like Him so we need to develop the Christlike attribute of humility!! Y'all should listen to this talk!!
