Hey, y'all!! It was a great week!! Imma just get to it!!.

Our district leader said that if we find 14 people as a district in one week, he will pay for B-dubs on Monday!! And y'all, let's just say Cottonwood Creek (my area) carried! 🤰👩‍🍼We ate up at Bdubs so fire!! Elder Harper'S wallet is suffering rn!! Haha!!

We played v-ball and I'm so good that I grabbed a chair and I was still scoring points!! Then an Elder did that same thing, and the ball came and smacked him right on the face!! It was definitely a Scott Sterling moment it had me dead!!

We had a Zone conference this Tuesday and it was fun!! We had a seventy come about a month ago and introduced this primary song called Sing a Song to My Mish Pres! And now my president loves to have us sing it!! So it goes something like this "Sing, sing, sing; I like to sing a song" then we added more verses so it's "knock knock knock we like to knock, then sleep sleep sleep no need to sleep."  President Kotter loves this song so through out zone conference he chose different companionship at the most random times to add to the verse. So the first companionship was chosen (shout out to Putna) and they did prayer. Then the second companionship did scriptures. And then he chose me and my comp and we like to keep people guessing so people thought we would do church. But I have been complaining to Sis Peck forever about the cold!! So we had everyone sing "cold cold we like the cold" it was funny!! 🥶

We went tracting and the sun here sets at like 5:15 which stinks cause everytime we knock on someone's door they act like it's 9:00 pm. I'm like bro it's a little after 5:00 no way you're in bed, but knowing what time my parents go to bed, I'm not shocked haha. Well we were tracting on this steep hill and all of the sudden my ankle twisted and I went tumbling haha. So while I was on the floor I had to ponder my life for a second, but Sister Peck whipped out her phone and took a pic! Pic below!

She found this amusing and sent it into the district chat then the next day we had reenactments from each member in the district. No comfort or love what so ever. What kind of missionaries are they??

I went on exchanges on Wednesday with my bestie Sister Lewis!! She's going home soon ugh idk why she didn't extend for me, but it's fine, ig!! We had some fun times. We actually got a whole lecture about the difference of like and love. And y'all I asked the same guy who gave us this lecture a question of how he's trusted in God and bro went off on some story of him in Germany, and no it didn't answer the question I asked. That whole day Germany kept being brought up, so I guess me and Sis Lewis are gonna hit up Germany post mish!

State side missions have weird food too!!✊️ Sister Lewis and I had our first duck and prob our last duck, and no they didn't put ranch out which def would have made the duck taste better. 🦆🔫 I think the duck was still quackin' cause my stomach did not like the duck!! The family who fed us duck also had us play this game where we had to guess which Disney movie they were quoting and me and Sis Lewis did not meet their standards cause I was lost the whole time. But the sky is falling was from Chicken Little so that's a win!! 

So my comp is from this small town in Utah, and before that she lived in a small town in Wisconsin, so she doesn't really know what to expect in a city. I had no idea of this until we were shopping at Walmart and we were at the self check out and she had no idea how to use the scanner so I taught her how. Then we were at Wendy's with some members and there was that Sunday machine where you can press the button of what soda you want and she literally was staring at it just baffled. Haha so I joke with her that she was Amish cause she had no idea how to use certain things haaha!!

DIANE UPDATE!! Pray for my girl!! She needs it!! We stop by Diane's on Friday to teach her a very simple lesson cause no one really visits her, and she's a member but very inactive. She loves having us come, and I have definitely seen a difference in her so she's more positive. So we walked in she is clothed thank goodness and we talk to her for a bit. Her phone wasn't accepting our calls so I took her flip phone to fix it and I got a little distracted and took some pics of us on it. But she doesn't have wifi so I don't have the pics yet, sadly. And we realized that was the problem, so we texted her 70 year-old son to let him know. Well anyways, Diane calls me her little giant cause I gave her a hug and she's shocked at my height, haha. Love her. 

We had a cool miracle!! We fasted for some new friends last Sunday and that night we received a referral from the YSA sisters. There was no contact info so we had to call them and ask how to contact her, and they then told us that was a referral from the Elder's in Alamosa. So we had to call them up and ask how to contact her, and they then told us that it was from these Elders in the Springs but they accidentally got her cause they are Cottonwood, and we are Cotton Wood Creek ahah!! So after some searching we finally got her number and we were able to call her and talk to her!! She even came to church the following Sunday!! Fasting works y'all!! She's elect so I'm excited!!

In zone conference we talked a lot about confidence! Sometimes we lack confidence as missionaries because we don't think we can really impact people. When Joseph Smith was in Liberty Jail the Lord said to him:  "Let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.” We have to have confidence in the Lord!! Yes we believe in Christ but do you believe him!! Trust in the Lord and he will bless you!!
