This week's letter will be short cause, literally, it flew by lol.

We had a stellar St. Patty's Day! We went to a member family's house in our ward—the Schlossers—and they made us some yummy food. We all wore green, and I taught them how to play Scum. It was pretty fun, even though I lost. Idk how that happened. She made the cutest rainbow cake—literally so awesome.

Y'all, our zone had the goal to do 1,111 street contacts, and sadly, our area ain't a big street contact place—except probably on weekends—so we hit up the movie theater. And y'all, this one guy saw us and said he knows us from the ads on Facebook—good to know the ads are doing something! We talked to this other guy and asked if we could share a scripture. Man fully said, "Ummmm," thought about it, and then said no. It was pretty funny. He'll be interested soon. But honestly, y'all, Sand Creek carried for like a second when it came to street contacts.

We are teaching a new girl we stole from the YSA missionaries!! Her boyfriend's family is in our ward, and she's always been at our lessons with them. So we talked to her, and she wants to be taught by sisters, so RIP the YSA elders. But she's super cool, and she has some really good questions. Her boyfriend, Terrance, actually told us he knows she got an answer that our church is true, so we are excited to see if that statement is true. We had a really good lesson about the Plan of Salvation, and she told us she doesn't understand why we are so nice? Which honestly confused me for a sec. Then she told us how her church told all of them to stay away from the "Mormons" and how they would honestly talk bad about us. She said she didn’t understand why they did that and how, actually, we believe in some of the same things!! It was pretty interesting to hear that!!

The Colorado Springs Mission just got a miracle. For the past 14 months of my mission, I haven't been to the temple since I left the MTC. The Denver Temple is just five minutes outside our mission boundaries, and the Albuquerque Temple is about 45 minutes outside as well, so we, as Colorado Springs missionaries, can't go unless we had a recent convert go with special permission. I didn't have that chance. But with all our prayers (and according to Pres, not me—our dedication 💁‍♀️), we have been granted special permission to go once a transfer now, but with certain rules. BUT LITERALLY AN ANSWER TO SO MANY PRAYERS!! So I'm so excited for that!!

Fun fact: Found out after using this computer
for service that we actually can't use computers 💁‍♀️🤦‍♀️.

We had another interesting lunch with our fav kinda cranky lady, Ursula!! She wanted us to bring the Rustic Hills Elders, who actually just got an ET, so the trio is now a duo—RIP Elder Stephens. 😭 Well, let me tell you, Ursula is the hardest person to keep a convo with. She literally answers with only yes or no, and this one elder was trying so hard to talk to her—it was just not working out. It was a very awkward, funny lunch lol.

Nothing much else, y'all. This week was not exciting, so sorry, and I literally took no pics 😬. But I'll leave y'all on a spiritual note!!

I have been studying a lot about faith recently, and I read this scripture in Moroni 7:33

33 And Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me, ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me.

We literally need to grow our faith. In Alma 32, it talks all about how we all start with this seed of faith, and if we grow it, we can have experiences that lead us not to doubt. But if we ignore it, then this seed will not grow, and we will constantly doubt and live a not-so-amazing life. So what we need to do is have faith-building times in our lives. We need to put in this work, and we will have power. Cause Christ literally said if it’s His will and we have faith in Him, we can have power!! And I have felt this on my mission!!

Love y’all!!!
