Last car inspection ππ the feature on the CCSM facebook!! Sanford Colorado June 2025 |
Yep, I'm still writing emails! You might be thinking, oh, I thought you went home. Nope—wrong twin. I'm still out here serving the Lord π♀️
Had my last zone conference, which was actually depressing. Like, they're gonna have to drag me out to put me on that plane. BUT y’all, President and Sister Kotter gave us such an amazing training. I'll save that for the spiritual thought, but literally it was soooo good.
Y’all, I had to give my departing testimony, which was literally so sad. I got up there and looked all around at all these missionaries, just thinking how I’d love to be them right now—just having more time. Man, it went by so fast. But enough about that. I ain't talking about that for a few more weeks.

I got to see all my friends, including Sister Lesuer, who I haven't seen since Christmas. Such a good reunion. It's my last time seeing her until she heads home in November—then we can party it up in Provo.
We had a cool experience with texting scriptures out. We were looking through this inactive member's record, and it looked like she never responds to texts, so we debated even sending our handcrafted scripture text. But the Spirit said full send, so we did. Then y’all, I kid you not, a couple of hours later she sends this:
"Thank you dear! I needed this one. I’ve had a rough couple of weeks. I’m only making it through because of my faith. Have a great day!! Keep up the wonderful work."
Y’ALL—the Lord is aware of each of us. This just adds to the thousands of experiences I have to share about the Lord's hand in our lives.

I LOVE SIS LESUEUR Sanford Colorado June 2025 |
And I wanted to share one more that happened this week. We showed up to a member’s house in our best service clothes because she wanted us to help her clean up her chicken coop (literally was having nightmares about this one). But then we called her and she was in the city, so we had to cancel.
But y’all—I was determined to do service for someone. So we both prayed for a name to come to mind. I looked at my comp and said, “This is crazy, but what about [this] older lady’s name?” And she goes, “That’s crazy, I was thinking the same thing.”
So we call this lady up and explain how our service fell through and we’d love to come help with anything she needs. She says that’s literally insane because she needed to get some boxes down from the attic but couldn’t reach anyone and didn’t want to risk falling. So we went and helped her with that—it was great!!

Y’all remember that kid who was inactive for 5 years, mows our lawn, and we were able to talk to him? He asked why he should go to church, and we told him why, and then he called Bishop to go to FSY.
WELL Y’ALL—after FSY, he had the best experience, and he got ordained a Priest. I literally started to tear up when it got announced. It was such an amazing experience. So grateful I got to watch this whole conversion process. I LOVE THE LORD!!
I don’t know if I mentioned this, but every week we go to a member’s house to teach their 8-year-old son the lessons. The parents are both returned missionaries, so they like their kids to take the lessons before their 8-year-old baptism. And y’all—this kid has got to be one of my favorite kids ever.
His name is Braxton, and when he doesn’t know what to do and gets awkward, he just awkwardly giggles—it’s hilarious. Like, literally the best thing ever. One time he showed us his piano and we asked him to play a song for us, and out of nowhere—Still D.R.E by Dr. Dre π It was literally so out of pocket but lowkey good.

The 4 am selfie Sanford Colorado June 2025 |
Y’all, we have two couples in our ward who are 93, 91, 90, and 90. Like y’all—they are all four still alive and guess what? They hang out and go on double dates π₯Ή We visited one of the older ladies—her name is Sister Reed—and man, her testimony is something I strive for. She literally is just the best. One day I hope that’s me and my hubby—with Leah and Jack—and we also have card nights. So we gotta do that.
I had president interviews this week, and thank goodness it wasn’t the last one because I would be literally bawling. My departing one will be in a few weeks. But y’all—this president interview was crazy.
We showed up for our scheduled time and the sister in front of us hadn’t even gone yet, so we got some extra talking time with Sister Kotter. Total score. And y’all—I was the last interview of the day, and President kept getting phone calls. My appointment was at 4, and I didn’t get in until 5. But it was chill. Probably one of my best interviews.
So—Rosie gets baptized this week. We’re still unsure about permission from her dad, so honestly we don’t know anything. But y’all, please get down on them knees and pray.

Spiritual Thought Time!!
(I know probably many of y’all just skip to this part!!) :)
This is from our zone conference this week:
Ether 12:4
"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God."
My mission president talked about how if you want hope, you need to exercise faith. You don’t just abandon ship—you need to anchor yourself. That anchor is faith. Anchor to your faith to weather through the storms of life.
We need to ask ourselves, "What am I doing today to act in faith?"
Our faith doesn’t stay stagnant—it’s either increasing daily or decreasing daily. So what are we doing to increase it?
I love y’all!!
XOXO
